'MossBrooks' was conceived with the aspiration to offer genuine Neapolitan pizza in Rome. The venture, initiated by the Rossi lineage in 1985, began as a quaint family-owned eatery, nurturing recipes that have been in the family for generations.
The cornerstone of 'MossBrooks', Marco Rossi, was educated in the pizza-making traditions during voyages across Italy, in particular learning from the esteemed pizzaiolos of Naples. She returned to the UK with a determined spirit to replicate the genuine taste of Italian pizza, embracing the original methods and selecting only the highest-quality ingredients.
What originated as a modest pizzeria with only 12 seats has blossomed into a treasured fixture of the local dining scene. Despite this growth, we remain steadfast in our dedication to premium craftmanship, utilizing centuries-old wood-fired oven techniques, preparing our dough from scratch daily, and choosing only the finest produce.
Maintaining its family roots, 'MossBrooks' is today managed by the second generation of the Rossi family, harmonizing traditional craft with modern touches, yet our essence endures: crafting extraordinary, true Italian pizzas that bring friends and families together.
